I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by the constant demands of a busy corporate environment of conflicting priorities, back-to-back meetings, overflowing emails, and an ever-growing To-Do list.

For 20 years, I worked in the IT sector where I managed teams and complex high-profile projects that had tight budgets and deadlines. It was during this time that I learned the power of technology - and later, AI - to transform how we work.

After experiencing burnout myself, I realised that being busy isn’t the same as being productive. By customising my approach and leveraging the right tools, including AI, I reclaimed my time and focus. Now, I help others do the same, using techniques and technology to streamline work and lead with purpose.

How Basketball Shaped My View on Leadership

Having played and coached basketball for much of my life, I’ve learned that the culture of successful teams is built on individual skills, accountability and collaboration. The same principles apply in the corporate world: high-performing teams are made up of effective individuals who maintain high standards and follow through on their commitments.

On the basketball court, every player has a specific role to play, and the shot clock forces quick, decisive action. Much like deadlines at work, the shot clock creates a sense of urgency and focus, pushing teams to make smart, strategic moves under pressure.

My approach to leadership and productivity mirrors this philosophy - helping individuals and teams make the most of their time, while maintaining accountability to reach key objectives.
